Sominor

Sominor (a.k.a. The Lightbearer, Bringer of Truth)

The first of the Unity to awaken on Siriande, Sominor is a prominent deity in the world today. Associated with the sun and artificial light in dark places he brings out the true meaning of things. His symbol is an all seeing eye, in more fancy designs often with a blue iris. He did not build a realm upon leaving the material plane, rather he takes up residence on a ship sailing the astral ocean, called Sominor’s Lantern. While Thalorn Xoth is often depicted as the de facto leader of the Unity, Sominor is often seen as the general, leading from the front. For Anvil Heart Dwarves he holds a special significance as a Lightbearer, illuminating their deep mountain halls and mines. His physique is that of a stout mountain dwarven male with long golden blond hair and beard. In dwarven art he is often depicted with a lantern held up in his left hand and a pickaxe in his right.
