Carath

The western continent of Sirel, once dominated by the Nolum Empire. With the continuing collapse of the Empire, the continent is in turmoil. Humans, along with dwarves, elves, and halflings, and the dominant races, though humans remain the most numerous. Carath was named by the elves, in their own glory days.

Geography

Carath is bordered on the east by the Sea of Spirits, the south by the Maresirel Sea, and the west by the World Mountains. A spit of land connects it to Ar-Nran to the south-east. (The kingdom of Dinalom lies on this land bridge, geographically closer to Ar-Nran, but is considered part of Carath for historical reasons.)
