Personal history

Guy Manson claims that he grew up in the small isolated village of Solstice located in the Karikari desert. His only friend was a lonely disgraced scientist Prof. Ido that most of the village spent their time ignoring. As Guy turned into his 30s, he found Prof. Ido dead in his home. Guy buried the lonely professor on a hillside near Solstice, and with nothing left to hold him there, he left.
Although Guy doesn't know it, Prof. Ido was the one who built him. The Professor made Guy think he was human so he could have what the thought was a real friendship, but it made the townspeople think he was even stranger and ignore him more.
