Silver Ward

Silver robed figures stroll through the streets, they seem to ignore their surroundings and walk with purpose. The Silver Wardens are a force to be reckoned with. The gold tiered members are known throughout the The Shattered Isles and rumoured around the entire eastern continent of Shin. They hold the keys to the bulwark. The 11-pillared structure that creates a fence of defensive magic against the demonic invasion through The Yester Rift. Their mission is noble and important, however, corruption starts to creep into the organisation.

Structure

The Silver Ward organisation consists of multiple sections. The military division or the red division is considered of the strongest armies throughout The Shattered Isles. Although it's not the largest, the order scouts young potentials from a very early age and submits them to rigorous training. Also part of the military section is the silverwatch. This watch is especially designed to keep an eye out in ever major city throughout the isles. It's also the only watch that is truly neutral and has no apparent link to any political structures other than the silver ward itself. The military division is also tasked with the protection of the pillars The intelligence division or the black division is considered the largest organisation that operates outside of the law and is allowed to do so. People that work for this part of the organisation tend to be criminals that wanted to do something good for a change. Nobody knows what this division actually does, but not everything is considered legal by the local law enforcement. The merchant division or the blue division is one of the largest merchants guilds throughout the island group. The organisation needs a lot of materials, to build and maintain its structures, or to supply the military. Most of the organisation's money comes from tributes of island authorities, but this division also makes enough money to turn a profit and support the cost structure of the organisation. The political division or the gold division is one of the more recent organisational divisions. Historically the silver ward did not interfere with local politics, but since the annexing of Shenfell to The Illaedion Empire, the silver ward started messing with the politics in an effort to abolish corrupt governments that are gaining too much power. The support division or the green division consists of engineers, scientists, researchers, scholars, and other important profiles that keep the eleven pillars running and make sure that the bulwark remains active. This is the most important division of the silver ward, but also the one that nobody hears about. The inner sanctum, the leaders of the order. They have final say in all the decisions based on the advice of the council of the divisions. There are three grandmasters, chosen by the entire faction and appointed til death. But these three leaders are supported by a myriad of advisors that have gained the inner sanctum status.

The goal of the silver ward is easy. Keep demons at bay, from external or internal threats.

Assets

The organisation is wealthier and more powerful than any other organisation throughout The Shattered Isles, currently it owns more gold than every government together, and has built structures larger than anything they've ever seen throughout the island group or during the reign of the Durrichon Kingdom. Some of the major structures include: The eleven pillars. These eleven great pillars are the lifeline of all life on the islands. Together they create the bulwark, a magical barrier that keeps demons out of The Yester Rift and keeps them from running through the entire material plane. The pillars even prevent some sort of magical essence or demonic influence from reaching the islands, but it does not succeed in keeping everything at bay. Researchers however are looking for a way to demolish every ounce of demonic influence, and a way to close the rift.
