Angarpa The Red Necropolis.

If I start developing the plot of that religion of vampire gardeners this place will became important. Is good to connect that with the information about the Vampiric Age described in Recent Ages of Sharitarn too. And with the topics about Erevi and elves.

ANGARPA

Go downriver from Erevi. Inside the narrow curve right after the Violet Lake you find Angarpa, the Red Necropolis. Separated from the land be a protective pit that makes it an island in the large river. It is in the grey area between a small and a medium sized city. Founded by colonists of Mimbao during the First Fragmented Age, around five million and three hundred thousand years ago (5.300.000 years, 52 Ages) the nation experienced a drastic change during the Wintry Age, around 700 thousand years ago. By them all living citizens of Angrapa died, and most of them ended converted into high undeads. In Lauvriim undeads are just tools, former citizens are treated little better than slaves. In Mimbao the undead and the living share existence with similar rights and respect the bonds of family and nation above the difference of life and death. In Angrapa only the dead are citizens. Those who still live are either slaves or resident foreigners protected by Merchant Treaties. Most undead citizens have no need of ephemerals, but about 6% of the population is composed by vampires, who need to consume the blood of talking animals for their sustenance. Angarpa hunters raid the West Coast, Mibavan, Agoioven and Lauvriim to keep their vampire population well supplied of slave blood. They also fight the elves of Erevi for that reason often enough, but the conflict of interest between the two nations never escalated to full war. Because their mutual interest keep trading prevents that. Ironically, the most extremely “undead” among the Necropolis (name given to those State Cities on Sharitarn with Mage Universities that form Necromancers) is also the best place for living people to visit. Specially those living people who are merchants. Angarpa has a rich and cosmopolitan Merchant Alienage. Also an Artist Caste ready to provide a rich and unique experience for visitors of all tastes. Elven presence is strong in this part of the city. Elven language dominates most the billboards on the streets, and elven stiles is strong in architecture. Undeads are everywhere, that goes without saying, both high undeads and those mindless drones called “low undeads”. Most the citizens are fairly ancient. Since the living population of Angarpa ended they only replace the city numbers when someone is destroyed and that is not usual. If you wish to trade in their market slave-girl are always a good choice. Unlike most Main Markets they have interest for slave-males as well. The use slaves as a source of blood, and drain them dry in a few weeks more often than not, the difference between males and females in this case is a matter of personal taste. In very non-metaphorical sense. Magic items and ingredients used by alchemists are another option free of risk. Consult a catalogue about necromancy to see which are the ingredients demanded by necromancers specifically. The Crimson Library (their Mage University) only forms generalist mages and followers of the Magic Way of Necromancy. Accordingly, most mages and sigraxes in the city are necromancers. Most Alchemists also end up with a focus in that area. Music is another well stablished national interest here. Musical instruments, books about the subject, anything related. Probably an effect of keep close contact with elven culture. I don't think I need to advise you against leave the protection of the Alienage Walls to venture in the city during night ours. Nor against leave the areas reserved for outsiders any hour of day to furtively invade the parts of the city reserved only for the local population. Just stay where you are welcome, and do not abuse the Red Necropolis hospitality.
