All Cities

I was under the impression that I had published this text of misleading name here a long time ago. That was not the case, therefore I am publishing it now. Those are clearly NOT "all cities" that exist in Sharitarn Universe. Not even all cities I have written something about. Originally the intention was to keep adding cities every a new one was found but I lost track of this plan too.   Still, I believe that may be good to have a list of some of the most relevant nations organized in one place. This is it.
Cidades (Cities ):     1. Lutianen, The Insular City.   Adoptive nation of Altair, and one important power on the East End of the Sorrowful River.       2. Shirshan, The Green Poison.     Three times larger than Lutianen, is the nation which controls the East End of the Sorrowful. It has a old dispute with Lutianen for the influence over Timurda and a long lasting conflict with the barbaric tribes of giants who inhabit the mountains at west.     3. Timurda, the Great Shipyard. (closer to Shirshan than it is to any other power, but under the protection of Lutianen. Has a important role in the war between the two larger cities)       4. Micula, ? . (the Metropolis in the West Coast of the Continent. Controls the East End of the Sorrowful)       5. Alkavalla, The City of Trees.     Controlled by an alliance between the forest men (humans genetically modified to be soldiers, brought from the planet tuned by the vortex before Earth) and the ungnuie (a race of powerful plant people, very powerful. They are iis like the forest people and the humans form Earth, but have been on Sharitarn for a very long time.       6. Urshawa, The Mage's City.     In the Magnetic North Pole of Sharitarn, with a secret mirror image in the South Pole linked by magic portals. There is the place where all mages who reach the top of their powers must go to became archmages.     7. Agoioven, The Ring City. (Prodevix, the sigrax pirate is from here).     Is build on the internal crater of an active volcano, and had several distinct characteristics.   Is know as the home of the most competent non magical Physician caste on the Continent. As the place where the magical Way of Fire Magic was created and where it's most powerful spells are still kept. Is the only place in the planet where the essentially non magical armors know as ix can be implanted, and fixed when they broke. Agoioven is also one of the oldest cities on the planet today and the home of at least one intelligent specie who swims under hot lava.     8. Mibavan, The Symbiont's City (also know as "Evil's Garden" and "Cattle's City", by their unfriendly neighbors)   Also among the oldest cities on the planet. Enemy of Agovien. This city is the only place on the planet which has the technology to design, breed and implant symbionts.       9. Ziicrix, The Insect City .     They don't deal with humans or most other mammals. The giants (enemies of Shirshan) are their only business partners among the races which deal with humans.     10. Mimbao, The City of Dead.     Is in an Island West to the Sorrowful. They have the most powerful necromancers on the planet, and are enemies of Micula.     11. Graxnore, ?     Small continental city under the protection of Shirshan. Good farms.       12. Crivaal, ?     Small continental city, Between Shirshan and Micula; poorly defended.     13. Osdornor, ?     14. Midraal, ?   City defeated by Osdornor. Now under occupation.     15. Rashglofar, The Stronghhold.   Warrior City, no true mages, only antimagic sigraxes.     16. Luderfall, ?   The city has a Alchemist Caste, and illusionist sigraxes, but does not have true mages: Under protection of Shirshan.     17. Toorgesh, ?   9 days of sapphic festival     18. Parviprae, ?   City founded by people from a Scar of Xar, they have no Mage Caste, and don't trust Mage Castes.     19. Alkalandre, ?   Neighboor city of Parviprae, not allied to it.     20. Makdiba, ?   City where women are allowed to be soldiers “under some circumstances”.     21. Mevrengau, The Golden City.   Small but rich city, located near to a point were two vortex lines cross; it looks like a vertical maze composed by bridges build over bridges supported by large and tall arcs made of stone, connecting many gardens surrounded by old and tall buildings. Merchants control the government.     22. Lauwriin, The White Shade.   City build around a six sides pyramid of bones linked with mercury solidified by magic. It has a Magical University named Ice Talon and is home for on of the rare non human species represented in the Mage’s Brotherhood. Necromancy and Whisper Magic are the Ways taught up there. City of the ii Archimedes.       23. Zilhadeo, The Garden. (   A city build on the corpse of a abyssal ii. Surrounded by desert lands the city and it’s surroundings are green fertile gardens. What this monster was and what killed him are two mysteries that may never be solved. The only certainty about is that it’s fall caused a Xar Scar large and deep, no magic is possible miles beyond the limits on Zilhadeo. On the other hand the citizens of Zilhadeo have developed peculiar strength and a few other capacities in consequence of the contact with the Leviatan’s skeleton. Extremely xenophobic nation     24. Avrorne, ?     25. Dradinu, The Gladiatorial Wall.   A city of iis: the citizens of Dradinu call themselves Dradi and their ancestors came from a planet Lao. All of them are hermafrodites, and in general they are taller and stronger than most civilized men. They are know for love and practice deadly sports, a habit they brought through the vortex from their home planet. The city was builded on a remain section of Wall, the ruin of a huge structure builded by a civilization long lost, when the first Laonite stepped on Sharitarn). Dradinu has no magical university and their sigraxes are all generalists. This days The Gladiatorial Wall is under the protection of Mibavan but Lauvriin, The White Shade, vindicate the small city and is far closer to it: a War between Mibavan and Lauvriin is a matter of time, according to most citizens of Dradinu.     26. Quin-Dhan, The Buiders City.   At west of the Giant Mountains, between the rivers Sun and Cold Serpent, inside a Xar Scar 1.700 years old. The city itself has avout 500. The Mage’s Brotherhood is blind and unable to reach directly Xar scars, thanks to that one can find fire guns around Quin-Dhan, and even motorcycles, all made by their blacksmiths.     27. Doldahal.   Small city on the Kailau Mountains, with no mages or sigrax. Just a respectable Alchemist Caste to deal with magic issues.   28. Shokraa, The Crab City.   A city on the lake formed by the Sorrowful River, it is build on the back of a huge living animal one could only describe as a Crab. This animal is the only one of his specie know by the population of Sharitarn, and probably was brought by the vortex)     29. Klausdhar, ?   The adoptive city of Douglas, ii chef de cusine, and husband of Euryale. His story is told in Slave Concierge.     30. High Towers.     City of flying men iis, build in the top of Lost Pride Mountains, in the middle of Sorrowful River.       31. Mandallu, The Ice Gate   City near to the Arctic Circle, necessary step in the travels by land between the Main Continents and the Arctic. A little more than half of it's citizens are humans, the rest belongs to four other races. The more numerous and influential among this races being the uacatai, a centauroid specie with three pairs of legs.   32. Iborn, The Dragon City.   Iborn is a non human city founded by dragons more than a million years ago on the Crescent Moon Peninsula (which by the time was a high plateau, not a peninsula). Back them dragons where far more common on the skies of Sharitarn, but still less numerous than many other non human species of involuntary immigrants. Most inhabitants of Iborn where humans, but even the free human men of Iborn where seemed by the human cities as little more than slaves: religious fanatics worshiping their living gods. When the City of Dragons was abandoned by the last parent of Xiirsh it felt in the hands of enemies and was left in ruins. The survivors embraced a life of nomadic hunters, formed tribes, and felt into a very primitive way of life. After the events told on The Last Brother a dragon came back to the ruins, and hearing about that humanoid tribes begun as movement to retake their old Nation. Few decades later the vortex tuned a planet controlled mostly by a specie of wyvern. Those smaller and less powerful parents identified themselves with the dragons, and vice-versa, so many are flying to Iborn looking for citizenship.   33. Angarpa The Crimson Necropolis.   City in the Main Continent where all citizens are undead. Founded as a colony from citizens of Mimbao. Is the most open know trading port among the Necropolis (in Sharitarn the term refers to cities whit Mage Universities where Necromants_ magic users who follow the Way of Necromancy_ are formed). To call it a "touristic" destination, or culturally influential in global scale, would be too much of a stretch but those undead necromancers certainly welcome visitors a lot better, and more frequently, than the necromancers of xenophobic Lauvriim. Or even those of Mimbao, a city that in some past was called "The Hearth Home of all Sailors".   Located downriver from Erevy the nation is heavily influenced by Elven culture.       Villages:   Under the protection of Lutianen:   To the North;   1. Miovar. 2. Paudin. 3. Rujna.     To the South;   1. Guadlu, (balneário de luxo) 2. Niore. (cidade de mineiros e ferreiros, fortes laços com o deserto Piwag, odeiam Lutianen)       Sob Proteção de Shirshan:   1 Graxnore. 2 Luderfall. 3 Parviprae.       Non Human Cities:       Alkavalla: Already mentioned here, it was first build by the extinct frog-people allies of the tree-people (the ungnuie). Rebuild by a new alliance made by the ungnuie with the forest people. The forest people's planet was the one tuned by the Vortex before it last transition, since them Earth became the tuned planet. That happened between the Earthling years 1500 and 1700, what is very recent in the eyes of the Scholars Castes of Sharitarn.   Technically Alkavalla can be classified as a human city. Because most consider the forest people a variant of human specie, despite relevant organic differences when compared to other human groups. From outsiders point of view looks like that forest men are the only ones ruling on their city. That impression in a mistake caused by the human tendency to look things from a human scale of time. A better understanding of the dynamic of power on Alkavalla shows that the ungnuie have the last word on any subject they choose to influence, but those subjects are few and the moments when they became relevant emerge rarely. Most days the ungnuie follow whatever the forest people decide.     Iborn: The Dragon City   Founded by dragons a little before the beginning of the Imperial Age (two million years before the time of Altair). The Imperial Age lasted about 100 thousand years and during that period Iborn flourished on the Crescent Moon Peninsula as the capital of the smaller Empire on the Continent. Despite it's size The Nation ruled from City of Dragons was among the most powerful on the planet, and in some periods even the main force.   No external enemy destroyed Iborn. Eventually the dragons who build it felt victim of depression, homesick. They abandoned their human and non human followers and left to live the rest of their long existences in solitude, alone or in couples. Used to serve the dragons as half-slaves and half religious zealots the citizens of Iborn saw themselves incapable to fight the numerous weaker enemies and administrate their land at same time. The fall of old Iborn was inevitable and happened a little after the end of the Imperial Age.   New Iborn is founded by Xiirsh, a young female dragon, few years after the end of the war between Shirshan, Lutianen and the wild kingdom of the giant Zaiaz. During this war Xiirsh faced his second change, a natural organic process for her specie. She lost the humanoid shape to gain the general form of a dragon, still smaller than an adult and sexually undifferentiated but capable of fly and spit a potent corrosive substance on her foes. The young lady dragon decided to retake the land where she had lived with her brother during most Imperial Age, but would have failed if the vortex had not started his new period of transition.   Among the many races brought by the chaotic and intensified activity of the vortex was a specie of intelligent wyverns who answered the call of Xiirsh ignored by her last remaining relatives still alive on Sharitarn.   Erevi, The Elven City:     Obuju Cities:   Aquibar, Pitaque and Quiquia: all three are on the North Coast of the Main Continent, East to the Crescent Moon Peninsula and West to the Ice Bridge. Relatively close to each other they face threats from other species as a single force, but fight among themselves constantly.   (Obuju are a race that remind human hyenas, one of the few races of talking mammals naturally dominated by females).     Aquibar, The Matriarch:   It is the largest city, and the first nation seemed for those who came from Iborn. Is also the oldest, first refugee of obuju clans of involuntary immigrant escaping slavery in human cities.   The sigraxes of Aquibar follow the Breeder Way of magic, a derivation of the Healer Way focused on spells made during conception or pregnancy to generate new species of animals and of slaves. They created the Mountain-Gorillas to serve as mounts and beasts of burden using that magic. Aquibar is located on the top or a mountain, surrounded by a terrain where is very hard to travel, and despite that keeps regular commerce with the other obuju cities thanks to the Mountain Gorillas.   Citizens of Aquibar believe they have the right of rule over the other two cities, as a capital of two provinces. Those who live on the other Estate Cities don't share that believe.     Pitaque, The City of Light:   Youngest Obuju nation Pitaque lies between the other two, and is the only Port City in the region. The name came from the ice sculptures made by it's artists, and by ones made by sea animals on the many icebergs visible from the port of Pitaque during the reproductive season. Light seems to dance around those cold prisms in what is considered for many one of the most beautiful spectacles on the planet.   Pitaque is the less cruel obuju nation, according to other talking species. The North West sea is extremely dangerous for navigation and the region is far too cold for human comfort, when magic is not used, but still some human captains came here to make commerce and hide from their enemies.     Quiquia,
