Session #3 | A Brief Rest
General Summary
The party arrive at town in the middle of the night and make their way to a tavern for a night's rest. After reconvening in the morning, Torwyn informs them that he has his own matters to attend to. The party express their interest in following him on his quest to the mainland, to which he is open to the prospect, but first must send important messages and write important documents.
A few moments later, Wasim spots Arthur sneaking out without so much as a greeting or parting word, so naturally he follows. Arthur leads him to an unsuspecting magic item shop. Once the coast is clear, Wasim makes his way inside and greets the shopkeep. Feeling frisky, he tries to outfox the owner and get his hands on a Cape of Billowing. Wise to less welcoming customers, the shop keep is not fooled. Things begin to escelate, and Wasim ends up fleeing from the scene with the use of a fog cloud and acrobatics.
Meanwhile, Kamo and Kezmit wander the town in search of... something... anything... eventually coming to a town crier. The crier went on about Blights terrorizing the farmland outside the town. After meeting up with Wasim, they head out to see if they could help the exposed farmers.
