Gramma Betsy Maplethorne
The elderly ork smells of vitamins and beef with a dash of justice. Perhaps the oldest ork in existence, her peach floral dress is as tight on her powerful shoulders as the bun holding up her cottony hair. Oversized tusks hold up her coke-bottle glasses, magnifying her eyes in a way that says "all the better to see you with." Her experience with the Orc Rights Committee made her the perfect replacement for MOM's former president, Libby Chalmers. Libby's commitment to peaceful resolution was torn to shreds along with her body. Betsy is determined not to let the same fate befall her or her cause, and so she spices up her peaceful ways with subtle suggestions of ultra-violence. Known for her love of apple pies and chainsaws, you can always count on Betsy to pack a PB&J lunch for hungry shadowrunners.
