Knollcrest
Built by a desert floodplain, the settlement of Knollcrest is home to Humans and Summer Nikki led by Count Hagas.
This settlement wasn't built near a floodplain by accident, as it has an abundance of rare minerals which are of great importance to the people of Knollcrest and its success.
The settlement itself looks magnificent. With its thatched rooftops, blackwood walls, and enchanting wildlife, Knollcrest has an otherworldly atmosphere. The main attraction is the windmill, which was built 25 years ago and designed by humans. Most peoples dread the arrival of sandstorms, but not them. They still retreat into their houses, but the intense winds make for a great fuel to the prototype wind turbines.
Knollcrest has a thriving economy which is mainly supported by hunting, cooking, and leatherworking. But their biggest strengths are rare animal breeding and refined baking. However, Knollcrest lacks people skilled in carpeting.
Despite its strengths and weaknesses, Knollcrest is most likely headed towards a booming future under the leadership of Count Hagas. But this remains to be seen.
