The Thousand Year war

Stranded on a new world and their technology falling apart, humanity finds itself embroiled in a conflict that seemingly will never end. For a Millenium the two sides battled back and forth, neither side gaining a definitive victory. Until the House of the Golem in their blind quest for power betrayed their empire giving up the entrance to the Trial of Mirrors and thus the means of creating new House Spirits. The war slowly started to work against the Niskulan Empire until the House of the Wolf sacrificed all to ensure that the bloodshed would come to an end. The devastation of their sacrifice forcing both sides to sit down and consider the loss of life that had been a result of this foolish endeavour.

The Conflict

Prelude

After a year of rising tensions, things finally reach a boiling point when the bodies of two of the human refugees were found slain.

Aftermath

The former territory of the House of the wolf is now a corrupted wasteland, the remaining lineage of its house fled to the newly formed kingdom of Araksah. Though there were strained relations with the new human neighbours to the south, the kingdom of Araksah never really forgot that it was the House of the Golem now occupying the kingdom of Arkoth's Trinity who had betrayed their empire to the humans.   Humanity took the peninsula formerly known as the Dragons Maw from the House of the Dragon after the members of House Golem had taken care of them. the remaining members of the broken houses formed Ranasa Taig on the opposite side of Mudris from Aetherfall, a kingdom of refugees that accepted all, even the humans who so many believed to be the aggressors.
