Fort Ardran

A relatively new settlement in the highlands north of the Xiaoshe rainforest.
Ruled by Ongul Dagsson, a dour military Goliath eager to cement his legacy. He leaves much of the administration of the fort to the Captain of the Guard, the Dwarf Unathi Faynen.

The Garrison

The Garrison is the centre of Fort Ardran's military and defence activity. It houses the main barracks and mess hall for the town's forces, as well as a well stocked armoury. It is governed by Tribunus, Unathi Faynan. The armoury is managed by the Quartermaster, a Gnome by the name of Optio Ruhul Salem.

The Frontiersman Inn

The main inn in Fort Ardran. It is managed by the half-orc Kuk'uq. Kuk'uq is a tall, muscularly built, bald person.

Dagsson Manor

The residence of Legatus Ongul Dagsson, and de facto town hall for Fort Ardran. Dagsson is a towering, grim faced grey skin figure. The ground floor of the building is mostly occupied by meeting rooms.

Other people of note

• Pandu Om is a halfling farmer who tends the fields around Fort Ardran. She is a portly middle aged lady with short curly brown hair.
• Pajit Thakur is a halfling with dark hair and skin. He was a farmer who lost his wife to fever and his daughter to a kobold raid.

Government

Fort Ardran is structured as a military outpost, with a marital government led by Legatus Ognussun. A council elected by the civilian populace is in charge of civic matters deemed irrelevant to defence.

Defences

Built on a well defensible hill, the town is surrounded by a high stone wall in the shake of a hexagon, with watch towers at each corner.
