Hessyx Desert

The Hessyx Desert is vast, an by far the largest desert in all of Scionna. It lays east of Su'Flacci and is a featureless land of shifting sand dunes. The only constant feature is Heavens Table, a massive plateau deep within the desert that juts high above the sands. Many who enter this vast desert are lost between the sand storms and monstrous predators who roam the area.

Fauna & Flora

From Sand Worms and Scorpions to Flying Snakes the creatures of the desert are highly dangerous. save for Cacti, the random Oasis is the only place you will routinely see any vegetation.

History

Long before the establishment of the city of Su'Flacci along the deserts edge, this place was home to Several Nomadic tribes who constantly warred with each other and outsiders for control of Heavens Table, but Centuries have passed since anyone has laid claim to the Plateau and its rumored treasures inside. The Last of the Nomadic Families to rule this desert gave rise to the Calliope family who see themselves as the rightful heirs to all the Hessyx holds.
