Xenodrak
Basic Information
Anatomy
Dragon Form
Within its main form, the Xenodrak usually sticks to one dragon-esk form, like the looks of a western dragon, eastern dragon, basilisk, or so on. Once a Xenodrak has chosen a primary form, it is a permanent transformation. Typically, the dragon form has a set of forelimbs and hindlimbs, a long tail, a set of wings, a large head with a least 2 sets of horns and other adorning features. The male form of this species tend to have larger muscular features, especially around the forearms, calves, and the wing joints. Females on the other hand are less muscular, still equally powerful, but tend to be more slender than the males and thus quicker.
Human Form
The Xenodrak have the ability to morph from dragon to human, and back, at will. Much like their dragon form decisions, once a human gender and features have been chosen, that is the Xenodrak's humanized form. As the human form is a condensed version, both males and females stand taller than the average human, only slightly dwarfing them in size. In addition to having a human form, certain parts of the dragon form appear as well, like horns coming out of the head, having a tail present even underneath clothes, different colored eyes, or even elongated fingernails/toenails. Xenodraks that have wings, hide them in the form of a cloak, that is still attached to them and has some wing features, and it never seems to leave their body. While in human form, the number of limbs is reduced, most times, so that the Xenodrak can blend into the human society.
Genetics and Reproduction
There can only be one Xenodrak of each element in existence, even if they're galaxies away. The Xenodrak only perform their rebirth ritual when they feel themselves fading away or "dying". During the rebirth, the Xenodrak coat their "power shard" in a viscous liquid, and then the shard is placed deep, into rich soil. Overtime, the shard turns into an egg, that eventually produces the life of the next Xenodrak of that element. The shard is also "reborn" into the dragon, and is plucked at the end of the Young Adult life cycle, and stored elsewhere, usually on the Xenodrak's person.
Growth Rate & Stages
After the "Rebirth", the Xenodrak goes through its life cycles. Their are a total of 8 stages to the Xenodraks life cycle, and a death stage at the end. The death stage is not considered part of the life cycle, as the death of a single Xenodrak is unpredictable. In rare occurrences, a Xenodrak in any part of its life cycle could end up dying, causing it to revert to the beginning stage again.
Stage 1: Egg
The first stage of the Xenodrak, within egg form the alien begins to take shape, growing limbs and other body parts. Even in egg form, the Xenodrak has begun to manifest its hyper intelligence, allowing it to make its most important decision: what its main dragon-esk form will look like. As it selects its dragon form, the Xenodrak within the egg has all the memories of the past incarnation, which lends aid to making its life decisions. The egg stage takes exactly 3 earth months to take full form and produce the Xenodrak. After 3 months, the Xenodrak egg hatches, moving on to stage 2.
Stage 2: Chick
After hatching from the egg, the Xenodrak enters its 2nd stage. In chick form, the Xenodrak is very vulnerable, having soft scales and very weak limbs. These detriments however do not diminish the Xenodrak's natural ability to fend for itself. During the chick stage, the Xenodrak spends its time relearning from past memories, including what path the previous version went down, i.e. lawful, neutral, or chaotic. The chick stage lasts about 25 earth days, reaching the size of about an adult earth wolf, and then begins to "grow-up" into stage 3.
Stage 3: Wyrmling
After the rough 25 earth days, the Xenodrak enters the wyrmling stage. In the wyrmling stage, the dragon begins to grow tougher scales, slightly larger limbs, wings depending on dragon choice, and begins to pick up it ability to mind read. The mind reading during the wyrmling stage is only effective against other earth animals and not humans. It uses this unique feature to communicate with other animals around it. The wyrmling stage takes 45 earth days, where it reaches the size of an earth bull (male cow), before it enters the adolescent stage.
Stage 4: Adolescent
Once in the adolescent stage, the Xenodrak begins to grow a secondary set of outer scales, that tougher than the interior ones. The Xenodrak also begins to learn its element(s) from the shard growing in its body. The shard itself usually begins to protrude from the chest region of the dragon. By this stage, the Xenodrak goes through its last "additive" state in which horns, teeth, and other protrusions grow out of the body. The adolescent stage takes 30 earth days, during which the size of the dragon reaches the size of an adult earth great white shark, after which it enters stage 5.
Stage 5: Young Adult
In the young adult stage, the Xenodrak gains the ability to switch back and forth between dragon and human form. This is a crucial stage as the Xenodrak decides what its human form will look like. Regardless of transforming or not right away, once the Xenodrak decides its human form, the bodies of both forms begin to grow together. In dragon form, the overall size of the Xenodrak is roughly as big an adult earth male elephant. Whereas in human form, it begins to be the height of an average adult human. The young adult stage lasts anywhere from 15 to 20 earth days, to which it takes on stage 6.
Stage 6: Adult
At the adult stage, the Xenodrak has fully formed wings, full length tail, and full elemental capabilities. In addition, its mind reading, sight, and hearing perceptions are at 100%. Within the adult stage, the dragon form reaches the size of a earth blue whale, while human form reaches a height of about 6'8" (6 feet 8 inches). The adult stage can last anywhere from 50 to 80 earth days before entering stage 7.
Stage 7: Ancient
Ancient Xenodraks are considered fully grown at this stage, but has more to add to them in the form of power and strength. In the ancient stage, the Xenodrak can tap into unused elemental powers that may or may not have been used previously. It also learns rapidly from its elemental properties, altering them to better aid itself. In the ancient stage, the dragon form is about the size of the Titanic, where the human form reaches its max height of 7'6" (7 feet 6 inches). The ancient stage is where the Xenodrak spends the most time, anywhere between 1 to 10 earth years, before reaching stage 8.
Stage 8: Hyper Charged
Considered the last stage of its cycle, the hyper charged state of the Xenodrak is when its at its most powerful. Most Xenodraks believe to have entered a state of having infinite wisdom while in hyper charged. This stage is where the Xenodrak reaches its max dragon form size, ranging to about as tall as the Burj Khalifa, being as long as the Mariana trench, and if possessing wings, having a wingspan equal to the size of Russia (from the eastern border to the western border). The hyper charged stage, being the last stage, has a Xenodrak living anywhere from 20 to 30 earth years.
Death Stage
The death stage, not technically included in the Xenodrak life cycle, can happen at any point of a Xenodrak's life. However, unlike human life, where death is unpredictable, death usually happens near the final years of a Xenodrak in its hyper charged stage.
Ecology and Habitats
Xenodraks that begin their "rebirth", place their shard within a matching biome of the shards primary element. Once the life cycle begins at the egg stage, the new Xenodrak is already within its perfect habitat. After certain stages of its life, a Xenodrak can elect to relocate to a new biome, but this is a very rare occurrence.
During its life cycle, the Xenodrak adapts to the biome, learning the weather patterns, terrain, temperature, and anything else that will aid in a better growth cycle for the dragon. Most Xenodrak have a playful side at the early stages of life, but his rapidly goes away, and is replaced with the instincts to learn, grow and hunt within its biome.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Regardless of its human forms dietary needs, the dragon form of a Xenodrak is strictly a carnivore. While hunting, any source of meet that is found, whether it is young, fresh, decaying, rotten, or diseased, will be consumed by the Xenodrak.
Between each Xenodrak, a different hunting method is employed. Some like to strictly hunt and immediately eat their food, while others play with their food by chasing it around for a bit, before killing it. No source of food is ever saved for longer than 3 days.
Biological Cycle
Xenodrak grow extremely fast early on in their life cycle, and as they near their adult years, the growth over times slows down. Xenodrak do not hibernate during any stage. However, like an earth snake, Xenodrak, regardless of the style of dragon, go through a shedding process. During this shedding process, the scales, horns, teeth, sometimes feather and fur, is replaced with stronger and tougher to remove versions.

Geographic Origin and Distribution
Average Intelligence
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The Xenodrak are extremely perceptive. With each little thing, their perception increases drastically. Since they're so perceptive, their reaction time to most things is lightning fast. However, the Xenodrak have been known to "blind" their senses do to a bodily-power overload.
Elemental Powers
After the Xenodrak "landed" on earth, the world became more attuned with natural elements and even those created by the alien race. Xenodrak typically only have one element that is "born" with them, making each individual one unique and terrifying. Because each typically only has one element, a Xenodrak can bestow parts of its elemental powers onto beings, animals, and even turning inanimate objects into animated ones. It is possible for Xenodrak to posses more than one elemental power, but "none" like to do so, as it disturbs the flow of their nature.
Flight
While in "dragon-form", the Xenodrak are lighting fast with flight. Even though some can look extremely big in comparison to a mountain range, they still posses extremely fast flying capabilities. In tandem with their flight, when combined with their lighting fast reaction time, a Xenodrak can turn on a dime during flight.
Hearing
Like a big cat stalking its prey, the Xenodrak have super-sensitive hearing, to which they can hear a drop of water hit a surface from about a mile away.
Mind Reading
The Xenodrak posses are unique ability to read the minds of others, but only those that are within a certain distance of the Xenodrak. They can also choose, at will, who's mind to read and when to turn it off. Due to this ability, it is near impossible to hide information from the Xenodrak.
Sight
Their vision is cat-like. They can see in the dark up to 5 miles away, and even further during daylight. Most have "heat" vision as well, being able to pinpoint thermal signatures from humans and other animals.
