Earth, in a new technologically advanced state, has had several centuries pass since the dawn of the 21st century. After a near-cataclysmic event causes earth to enter an apocalyptic state, the surviving humans now scavenge earth's surface for resources and materials to make a living. What drives the humans to survive? The new inhabitants that are said to have caused earth's apocalypse. A race of super-intelligent "aliens" that now share the planet with the humans.

Some survive, some revolt against the new visitors, and some just give in and accept their fate as a slave. Amongst the humans, a group a remarkable people have joined forces; each possessing unique traits and skills that benefit others. These people scour the earth, looking for resources, find clues, and making a living off the simple trades that they provide. It is their group formation that drives them forward in an attempt to keep earth safe and alive!
