Storage
Most coal is stored in ore carts or mine carts from where its mined or gathered. From there, coal is usually transported greater distances in a hopper car to a location like a processing plant. Coal is also stored in a steam locomotive tender to be used as fuel along the way.
Law & Regulation
Coal is used all over the world. There are no rules governing how much a single person or organization can use. A company that mines coal for others to purchase, usually earn a percentage of the trade.
