Hajaari

"If we stop pursuing the truth, none of this will be worth anything."   -Rhys, Dean of Songara       The Hajaari are the oldest living race on Sayarh. When they awoke, they were surrounded by a massive city built in one of the most inhospitable lands on the continent. Ever since, their creation has been a mystery that intrigued the sentient golems: most dedicate their life to understanding where they came from and the world itself.   Hajaari are naturally inquisitive, academic, and strong. They have devoted the past two thousand years to their goal, and dissidence is rare. While they are certainly honourable, they are also stubborn--which can certainly lead to some conflict.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Hajaari are sentient golems carved from stone and held together by powerful magic. Due to the fact they aren't made of flesh and bone, they cannot use or be affected by blood magic.

Genetics and Reproduction

One of the drawbacks of being Hajaari is that their numbers are finite. As far as they know, they can live forever. But no more can be created and death is permanent.

Growth Rate & Stages

Hajaari stay the way they awoke for their entire lives.

Ecology and Habitats

Heat and cold do not affect the Hajaari, so they can acclimate to most lands.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Hajaari have no need for food.
