Dwarves

Dwarves are as crafty as they are vain. While the Humans excel in abstract inventions and alchemy, Dwarves put their efforts into grandiose structures with clearly defined purposes. There is a large emphasis on metals and steam as that is about all the Dwarves can harness in the mountains.
For hundreds of years the Dwarves used the Toralik as slaves to construct their empire, but it ended recently after the Dwarven Civil War between the ruthless King and his tenderhearted queen, Tilde. After a strategically won war, the Toralik were free. Many went home, but some chose to remain among the Dwarves as the continent was all they had ever known.
