Sealing's Fest
Sealing's Fest celebrates the anniversary of the Sealing of the Scaled Tyrant, Tiamat. Occurring on the 7th Crete of Taln, the Festival begins on Gonmirl, and ends on Kelmirl. Drinking, singing, and reenactments all happen. Typically seen as a joyous time, all production and jobs halt during the festival. Games are played, stories told, anything and everything happens, and it differs from town to town, country to country. One thing that is standard to each city is the Chasing, when a person dressed as Tiamat runs and hides in the town, while 2 people, one dressed as Bahamut, and one dressed as Kizen the Mad, chase "Tiamat" around and one by one, remove one of her heads. Since the sealing of Dispater, after "Tiamat" is sealed, they repeat the game, but "Tiamat" is replaced with "Dispater" and the 2 become 5, each representing one of the Watchmen.

Interesting festival! I love the idea of the Chasing, it sounds like good fun but could get very intense!
It definitely can be, especially with the drinks that flow like a river. Thankfully, most of the guards are still working during the festival.
