Brandros

Brandros is famous for its innovative underground tunnels, which houses the majority of the population. The only exception are the few Brandrosians that live above ground to keep watch for those below. The secrets to an underground society are closely guarded. Because of the size of the tunnels, very few species that are not either Gnomes or Halflings even visit, let alone live there. Nobody truly knows how they hunt or farm underground. Nobody knows what their culture is like. Very few of these two species leave for long periods of time, and those that do are oddly secretive about even the smallest of details. Durndool Ebeedo, the Prime Minister, has made attempts to be public, but his people remain as strange as ever. The people of Giellos do not entirely trust this pacifism and haven't for some time, but should a war break out, Brandros would likely use their signature "run and hide" maneuver that has served them so well in past wars.
