Sint'Allar and Ur'Thuk

Basic Information

The cities of Sint'Allar and Ur'Thuk although separate, are considered to be joined together and thus simply referred to as Sint'Allar. The small collection of islands and shallow waters are home to the cousin races of the Goliath and the Triton. Both races mostly keep to themselves and stay near their home. The entire city and islands are some sort of fort or watch over the Southern Sea. Both the goliaths and the tritons watch over the sea and guard it from evil creatures in the ocean and from planes beyond.   Although there may be a few of some of the other races in Sint'Allar, they are very few. The city is mainly focused to martial training, magic to do with the sea and dealing with extraplanar threats and new creations to help guard the sea. As such the city is not known for dealing in lots of trade besides rare minerals they need. So most creatures simply have no reason to come to Sint'Allar and neither the triton, nor the goliaths mind.

Geography

Sint'Allar and Ur'Thuk are a small series of islands and shallow waters that are set a few hundred miles south of mainland Sarion in the Southern sea. The islands are mostly sharp, vertical cliffs that reach towards the clouds, almost like watch towers. While some of the father islands lower in elevation, they are all very high rocks. Amongst the shallow waters around the tall cliffs are healthy sea life and the waters are clean and clear, it looks like a paradise and underwater in the center is the large main city of Sint'Allar.

Sint'Allar

The main city of Sint'Allar is a massive beautiful city that almost looks like one massive castle. Almost all buildings are linked into each other and are made underwater with a mix of coral and some bright colored underwater rock. Most of the city is underwater and is where the triton live, while some of it breeches the surface and spires of the same bright colored rock reach high into the air. On the coasts of some of the closest islands they have some large docks that increase the amount of land near the city greatly, and this is where most trade with surface dwellers and work with the tritons and the goliaths happen.

Ur'Thuk

The buildings of Ur'Thuk are scattered all across the high cliffs that stand high above the sea. High up in the clouds, where is is almost difficult to see the bottom where the seas waves smash against the cliffs, is where the Goliaths live. They have made their homes on top of and into the sides of these massive cliffs. The goliaths have a natural ability to bend stone and thus create small homes into the sides of the cliffs and make long roads that go back and forth all the way down to the base of the cliffs. Almost no creatures besides goliaths and few triton live go up the the tops of these cliffs. But it is said that a creature who can hike to the top of the cliffs and earn the respect of the goliaths may be taught in the monk trainings of the way of the stone.
