Genasi in Sarion

Genasi are humans who have been touched by the magical energy of the elemental planes. Some humans become genasi if they are born in a extreme weather or natural event that happened because of a surge of elemental energy. Other genasi simply inherit the traits from a genasi parent. Genasi have innate magical abilities of the elemental plane they are linked to, and feel some sort of strong connection to that plane. Genasi are rare and although many choose to just live a simple normal life, some choose to do something more such as adventure or try to accomplish something great, using their abilities to aid and guide them. Although genasi are a rare sight around Sarion, they are looked on and treated with wonder by some races simple interest by others since the circumstances of a genasi birth are almost always story worthy.
