Novum Tyrus

The Capital City and the host of the imperial pantheon religion, Novum Tyrus is the grandest city in the Ulasian Empire. Orange stone buildings with ornate carvings of the angel Badriel on nearly every wall. Towers with huge opalescent crystals dot the cities skyline, carved in the style of the symbol of the Oculus. On a large hill in the center of the city, a district of white buildings stand surrounding a triangular palace with a statue that was once the Angel Badriel himself at its center that can be seen from anywhere in the city.

Defences

The Wall of Seven Shields surrounds the city and the Witchaussers and the Imperial Military have a combined force known as Bellicum Proventia, making it one of the safest places in the empire. Each of the Opal Towers has a dedicated mage from the Oculus that acts as a district wide watchtower that detects any magic cast within the district, not sanctioned by the Proventia.

Industry & Trade

Within the city, the people create art and debate, without the burden of harsh lives.

Infrastructure

Novum Tyrus rests on the plateau right next to the Soutcliffs. They use the nearby stone quarries to build their homes, shops and temples. Roads are constructed and maintained by the Shaper's guild. The Bridge of Lex Tempora connects the City proper to its guardians in the Oculus. Large Clay furnaces, paint shops and forges can be found all in and around the city.

Assets

While behind on the trend of artificing throughout the continent, the capital boasts high levels of arcane knowledge and more classic artifacts such as flying brooms and carpets. They also have access to the best alchemical ingredients from across the empire, shipped to the researchers at Auspex University for their experimets.

Guilds and Factions

The Muses Guild headquarters, the Amphitheater has the most influence outside of the temple staff of the High Temples within the city. They set the standard for other artisans to measure themselves.
