Gaeyra

The One and True Goddess of Orcish Kind. Gaeyra was said to be the most incredible Forgemaster that ever lived. As a child, she was said to walk through flames unharmed and grasp heated metal with her bare hands. She aged rapidly, even for an orc, and quickly took to the forges. Once she had learned all she could, she was struck with ingenuity and invention and began the creation of the Prime Designs. Once she was finished, she was old, when only some 30 years had passed. She gave each clan at the time a design and set their smiths to the task. It was said that for a year after her death, the forges never darkened as the designs were created.
From there, her works became legendary, sparking whole new clan identities based around the Prime Designs. It became a holy act to modify the designs to best suit the situation that each clan needed it for and eventually, the Prime Designs became Holy Texts and their secrets hidden from the outside world.
The emulation of Gaeyra only grew from there. Smiths began to pray for her blessing on the coldest nights, when their minds were so frozen and their forges nearly blackened that the entire clan might freeze. When the fires sprang to life once more, great feasts would be held and Gaeyra's songs would be sung.
