Evreux
Millennia before the first mortals drew breath, Tyses and Biantir walked together through the primordial landscape of Sanctum battling against any creature that may seek to destroy them. Atop a hill that was flowing with lava, they encountered Cottus, a fire giant with 100 arms that swung 100 hammers. Tyses stood fast, brandishing the shining blade Ilios Korvo and took heart in his brother and shieldbearer Biantir. Even with Aspida, the Shield of the Gods, Biantir didn't think that he could withstand the blows of 100 giant hammers. Then as Tyses readied his sword, Biantir ran. Realizing the betrayal, Tyses brought his sword down on Biantir and severed Aspida in two and cursed Biantir two be treacherous until the end of his days.
Thus upon this hill, followers of Tyses and Biantir have met and fought for centuries on behalf of their gods and the City of Evreux was born to cater to them. Since then, temples and arenas have been erected and the volcanically blessed fields have given the rewards of the most excellent wine grapes to grace the tongues of man.
