Koyari Forest (k-oe-y-AA-r-ee)

The Koyari forest is home to the Sonri, along with many other special plants and animals not found anywhere else in Salkur.

Plants

Kiso

The kiso (k-EE-s-oe) are a type of vine which weaves itself into the shape of other creatures around it. If a Sonri communicates with a Kiso through Expression of their Sarik, the Kiso will change itself from its current shape to that of the Sonri who commincated with it.

Riko'mako and Riko'ma

The Riko'mako (r-ee-k-OH-m-ah-k-oe) is a dangerous leaf. Over time, it has developed a potent poison which will kill most creatures, and knocks out a human or sonri for a day. A slightly less evolved cousin to it is the Riko'ma (r-ee-k-OH-m-ah), which will not kill or knock out, but will send those who consume it into a dizzy and intoxicated state which will cause them to lose control of their actions for a long time.

Animals

Om

The Om (OE-m) is a type of lizard which lives in trees. It is herbivorous, and eats so much that it can sense when a Sonri is communicating nearby. It greatly dislikes the noise made by this, and will squeak in irritation when it detects it.
