Begþgól

Begþgól is the northernmost kingdom on Kena. It was formed in the aftermath of the death of Ular Tóma II by his general Hen Caifal and has used its favourable position for trade beyond Kena and its relative isolation from the other Didary Gólö to become one of the most prominent economic powers on Kena.

Public Agenda

Although the offical public agenda of the Begþy state is that they are the true heirs to the Kenaty Empire, there are many within the senate who doubt the kingdoms ability to enforce this claim. For the moment at least, the Narcuxy state seems content to stay on its peninsular where it remains largely separated from the wars that often rage in the South.

History

Begþgól was one of the first Didary Gólö to gain a distinct identity in the years following the death of Ular Tóma II. The modern region consisted of the two Imperial provinces of Begþia and Narma, and where both under the governance of Tóma's general Hen Caifal at the time of his death. Quickly seeing that there would be no peaceful transistion of power, Hen took the initiative, quickly assembling an army and marching from Bextós south to guard the land bridge with Saingól. Learning that his main rival and Tóma II's designated heir, Prince Fana, had been killed in battle against the Knukciny people, Han declared the founding of a new kingdom in the north, which would come to be known as Begþgól.
