Mauvoy

The Mauvoy is an ethnic community whose members reside in the Quiet Green region of Kaipei. They are the smallest demographic living on the island despite their large territorial claims.
Due in part to their historical isolation from other groups in Saekai, they are generally understood to be a reserved and tight-knit community, perfectly content with keeping to themselves. The Mauvoy are a self-sufficient people with few traditions that impel them to interact with the rest of Saekai, although more recently they have began to trade with the other communities of Kaipei.
It is no surprise to learn that the Mauvoy are wary of outsiders, although they are still friendly and not immediately distrustful. Travelers who make the long journey to the Quiet Green and meet the Mauvoy claim that their hospitality is second to none.
Most Mauvoy communities are small villages built around farms, and although large clusters of habitation exist (especially closer to the Mahuati Range), none are large enough to truly be called a "city."
