Amalgam Core

I'm looking to start up a business in your world. What product is in the greatest demand? Where should I set up? The core of an Amalgam is probably in the highest demand at the moment. Partly because of the element of danger that goes along with obtaining such a thing, and partly considering how the royal family has formally forbidden heading into the Great Nest. Alright so the Amalgam Core is the center of a magical entity that has recently taken refuge in the barren land of Olva and is quite steadily burrowing under the town of Teruk.  The name Amalgam comes from the property that aids this creature in evading destruction. It is heavily debated whether the beast has one collective mind or if it is actually multiple minded creatures that through evolution have gained the defensive ability to meld into one another to form a larger more powerful version of their original form. The way the core can be obtained is disintegrating the outer layer that takes on a gelatinous appearance, akin to that of a regular slime, with flame/flame spell; or by simply destroying one of their eggs before hatching. The latter would require heading down to their Great Nest which lies about half a mile outside Teruk. With access to their nest now forbidden the only way to acquire an Amalgam Core without incurring the royal family's wrath was by destroying any specimen that dares leave the protection of their nest. Though the creatures have severely wisened up to this fact, to get around their increasing cleverness people have cooked up ways to lure them out into the open. With Tekunite, a very common mineral used in the construction of pathways which seem to act as a food source the entity and a huge deposit of it appears to lie under the very town of Teruk that has lured the creature there in the first place. The reason for obtaining these cores is imperative to the industry of metal work. The cores take on the aspects of metal and melt extremely quickly into whatever the base metal may be creating alloys unlike anything metallurgists of our time have seen before. Now to the normal listener that might just sound like an amazing fusing agent and there you'd be right, but its truly magical capabilities are revealed when one might throw say a block of wood into the forge by accident, its binding powers will somehow fuse the wood to the metal without burning the wood whatsoever. Currently the hunt is on with many people like yourself going after it so I would say you should go set up camp outside the towns boundaries, and hey this just between you and me but I've heard of a huge Tekunite mountain just to the east of Teruk and that many Amalgams have been spotted out there.
