Volkians

Volkians are a subspecies of Faunus that is spiritually connected to wolfs. Thus they have racial characteristics similar to them, the most well-known being the wolf-ears and tail. They may also have slightly jagged canine teeth.

Common

They are among the most common types of Faunus, and have unusually strong genetics. Their offspring has a higher chance of becoming a Volkian, even if one of the parents is Human or another type of Faunus.

Capabilties

Similar to all other Faunus-kind, Volkians have heightened senses, particularly smell, hearing, and sight; such as seeing in the dark. They are also perceptive toward oncoming danger.

Defects

As with all Faunus-kind, certain defects are to be expected, especially if one parent is not Volkian. The risk is elevated if one parent, or close ancestor, is Human.
The most common ones are the absence of either a tail or wolf ears. The addition of one or multiple tails or a set of functional Human ears is more uncommon. And although rare, a Volkian may have two defects, such as no tail and a set of functional Human ears.

Distant Volkian Bloodied

Humans who have distantly related Volkian relatives may be born with faint characteristics of their kind, such as canine teeth or heightened senses.
