Katzens

Katzens are a subspecies of Faunus that are spiritually connected to cats. Thus they have characteristics similar to them, the most well-known being the cat ears and tails. They may laos have slightly jagged feline teeth.

Common

Katzens are among the most common types of Faunus, and have quite strong genetics. This means that their offspring has a higher chance of being a Katzen, even if one parent is either a different Faunus or a Human.

Capabilities

Similar to all other Faunus-kind, Katzen have heightened senses, particularly smell, hearing, and sight; for one they are able to see in the dark. They also have greater reflexes than your average Human and are unusually perceptive toward oncoming danger.

Defects

As with all Faunus-kind, certain defects are to be expected, especially if one parent is not Katzen. The risk is elevated if one parent, or close ancestor, is Human.
The most common ones are the absence of either a tail or cat wolf ears. The addition of a set of functional Human ears is more uncommon. And although rare, a Katzen may have two defects, such as a set of functional Human ears and no tail.
