Wulvech

Wulvechs have a lupine (wolf-like) appearance with pointy ears, jaws that resemble a short wolf snout and bodies covered in short dark gray fur. Men and women are both tall and thin. Despite having slightly elongated jaws, Wulvechs are nonetheless able to speak clearly. Unlike wolves, Wulvech men and women show clear sexual dimorphism with women having breasts, wider hips and being overall less hairy.   Wulvechs are said to descend from Ulque, one of the four first men created by God, through his eldest son Uwolan. The comparison between Wulvechs and wolves is fairly obvious considering their wolf-like appearance; Wulvechs even avoid hurting or killing wolves which they affectionately call ‘céth bráthiré’ (forest brothers). Wulvechs tend to be very family-orientated with their immediate loyalty being to their kin rather than their king, with many Wulvechs being part of a clan. Clans provide a sense of shared identity for many Wulvechs and in rural areas it’s not uncommon for people to adopt the name of a powerful clan to obtain protection. In remote areas like the mountains or the deep forests, clans act as virtually independent entities, free from royal oversight.
