Flightling

Basic Information

Anatomy

Humanoid with large (but proportionally very light) wings sprouting from their backs. They have hollow bones and some alterations to their muscular and skeletal structure from the standard human. Their hair is actually made of feathers; usually these feathers are fairly fluffy, and non-pure Flightlings often have some human-ish hair in addition to the feathers. They also have tail feathers and bird-like eyes; a lot of Flightlings invest in contacts/something magic to make their eyes look normal. Flightlings can have feathers in a variety of places on them; non-pure Flightlings often have less, but appearing in a few places in tufts. Powerful upper body musculature and strength.

Flightlings have long been thought connected to divinity and are often called 'angels' or something of the type.

Range of colorings, but usually light and striking or pastel. Usually considered to have noble or beautiful appearances.
