Life Traders
The Life Traders are a group of alchemists who have figured out the secret of Zennian blood. Though it is a timely process, they have discovered a method to create Potions of Longevity using blood extracted from these people. They have gathered in Averi City behind the front of a potion store called Heaven's Door. There, they are holding hostages from Zenne in underground cells and selling these potions at never-before-seen low prices.
Procuring this blood would be much more difficult without Rodney's help. As the leader of Zenne, he makes sure that certain families will be unwatched so that the Life Traders can come and abduct them. He then falsifies some reason for their disappearance. All he asks in exchange is money, which the Life Traders have in excess.
