Elenmora

Those who hailed there were fond of their history, self-centered to the point of destruction- the origin of their destruction is unknown, and their knowledge lost. On the other hand, the most knowledgeable scribes agree that the large continent was drowned in the ash of their own kind, seemingly disintegrated in seconds. It was called a plague, and many fled when hope drowned along with it. Their eldest council members called upon their rooted magic to pull another island to crest above the crashing waves, leading their people to such sanctuary before merciless peril overtook them all. Though this time was so long ago, what is known about the time could be uttered in one breath. In other words, it's difficult to pinpoint what is common knowledge about this place. It was lost to a great power eons ago, and those who try and reclaim it are lost. All that remains are rumors from those oceans away, all too sour and pious for their own good. Elenmora existed 25,000 years prior to the current date. Long, far, and forgotten to Mannus folk, it was once a sempiternal nation. Though, as many do, the last emperor by the name of Mohedoru was corrupted by something unknown. He was said to drive the land deep into inescapable hell, calling upon treachery as if a child with toys. The fall of Elenmora occurred 5,000 years after its creation- fascinatingly long for such immense power.   The landscape now consists of... well, it's unknown. The most accepted idea is that the land has become a desolate wasteland. Claws of stained earth crawl up to the sky- twisting horrors of nature without law. No grass, no trees- no life.

Structure

What remains in the ancient tomes from this time period suggests that Elenmora had a certain gift when considering hierarchies. Many whispers weasel into the ears of those who listen too well, telling tales of Elenmorian tradition in which contained no revolutions- a caste system which all fell prey to their own game. The highest stature was of the emperor, who was elevated to god status until his presence was no longer needed. The Emperor had a royal council of several representatives, all from the major working parts of his empire- farmers, scribes, magic users, royal guards, etc. Figuratively, under this royal council sat a ring of wise folk, who were known for their distinct knack for knowledge. The ring of wise men and women were called The Everglades, who provided the royal council with every fact they could need.

Public Agenda

Morse so, records additionally suggest that resources were put towards excavation and recording of historical findings. It is unknown why the Elenmorians did so, yet it seems to be inspired by the patriarchal side of royalty and his connection to religious practices.

Assets

Elenmora was very much rich in the way of knowledge, but even more so in the way of agriculture. They say in the most moth-eaten books that their wheat fields were so large, that when the wind blew it looked as if a golden ocean broke like waves upon city walls. Their land was rich with the silt of fanning streams; like a ribbon, they wound themselves deep within Elenmora. These rivers, now speculated to be completely dried and caved in, are referred to as the Dead Roots of Elenmora, and thought to have religious ties.

Disbandment

The aforementioned calamity broke out in a way that could never resolve itself, in turn leaving the land uninhabitable to those even arriving on its shores. It is not entirely known why or how this occurred, but many speculate.
DISBANDED/DISSOLVED

Perhaps with these musings we can come to see this planet through the lenses of all of our relatives, rather than simply through the limitations of our own experience.
