The Conductors

The dwarves responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Deep Lines have now formed the Conductors: a brave organization of scouts and rangers. The Conductors have a simple mandate: keep the lines clear; expand the network; keep the travelers safe; and get them where they are going. For everyone on Rockfall is traveling to one haven or another. Some of the tunnels and trams have fallen into disrepair or have been invaded by hostile creatures. Therefore, the Conductors are forced to dig new tunnels, build new railways, detour through old mining tunnels, or scout out routes through the dangerous dungeons and lairs of the Underdark. Sometimes they get wind of another bunker or enclave of survivors living somewhere in the Underdark, and to their credit, the Conductors will do what they can to get a connection to Deep Lines through to them, despite limited resources.
