The world, however civilized, lacked any general authority and remained in thousands of clans all over each continent. The closest that people had to unity was over the gods and goddesses of the land. Even then, there was no true consencus over the gods either. The rule of the Definitives is absolute. The war of unrivaled power reigns supreme. The power of the Elves, the Dwarves, and the Humans has been a constant back and forth with little current interest in taking each of the lands over, though there have been attempts.
The battle between the Nowhere Children and the Emsteclan navy that secured the Undines as the most fearsome pirate crew in the seas.
The party has landed on the island within the world of the old Orcs, a conjoined effort that began the era, as the group had met a strange being in a secret compartment of the Orcs land, long forgotten and unknown to the rest of the world. During this time, the party was introduced to the destiny of conquest that laid ahead for them, in search for a new order and a more equal world in a land filled with corruption.
Here the party has met the Gatekeeper, forming the pact with the deity to change the world's structure as the world knows it.
