The Beginning of the Architects of Light

Plot points/Scenes

The journey started on a ship, as they all were on this journey for their own reasons. Aygen Ryer Fey Shurman Ultress came on this ship to find answers to who he is and who he wants to be. He recently left the Historian's Guild, and left to find himself. Tessara began her exile from her country, completely unsure of what the fates had in store for her.
Two weeks into the journey, a few miles off of the South Coast of Savantail, a mighty storm swept the seas, pounding the ship's helm, rain hitting like arrows in the dark, the night as dark as the Aether. Then a lightining bolt strikes the main mast of the ship, setting the ship on fire. Aygen and Tessara nimbly manages to escape onto a cockboat, slowly going further to the unknown.
They make shore onto Savantail, and wander around until they find the ruins of a once grand Orc city. After searching for a while, they discover that the statue in the square seemed off. The two solves the riddle of the fountain and goes through the secret entrance to an area completely covered in dusk. They are barred off from returning as they journey, and before them they see a room completely dark with not an inch of light other than a slight illumination from a spell casted. The Gatekeeper, a completely unknown being with no known physical form, gives them the task of taking the island of

, and stated that there are beings and people in this world that hinged on their success. They would gain several allies, enemies, and meet other neutral parties on the way there. Aygen and Tessara reluctantly accepted the task and were knocked unconcious, landing in a seemingly random poor town in Emstecla.
