Wolf-blooded

Among the Brotherhood of the Fang in Fang Wood are a significant number of natural werewolves; perhaps one in three Fangs is wolf-blooded. Wolf-blooded Fangs try not to openly display their lupine heritage except when threatened or enraged; the presence of their aforementioned foes is sure to bring it forth. Little is known about their true numbers or their leader, who is rumored to be named Whitejaw.

It is said that humans can be cursed to become wolf-blooded themselves. The Brotherhood neither confirms nor denies this rumor.

Wolf-blooded tend to be fairly large, hirsute, and stocky in appearance when compared to humans. They are stronger and hardier than humans generally, even in their human shapes. They have the wolf's sense of smell in all forms, They can take the shape of large, terrifying wolves, standing at a man's height at the shoulder. They tend to group in packs, led by strong pack leaders. Wounds not dealt by silver will heal quickly, making them very hard to kill. If not slain, they live between sixty and eighty years.
