Structure

While the IAA is mostly known as being a capable educational institute, it also has the purpose of making scientific breakthroughs for the other factions and departments inside of Covenant.

Public Agenda

The organizations stated purpose is to further Covenant's technology and understanding of the outside world, though they are to act within the realms of "morals and ethics" set forth by the Dean and Administration. Currently, the practice of experiments on unwilling subjects is banned.

Assets

Receives funding from the High Council and tuition, Has a headquarters and a scientific complex located at Covenant along with a Large amount of staff, students, professors, and researchers.

History

Founded decades ago when the settlers of Sanctuary split from the conglomerate, This institute has had as many controversies as it's made scientific advancements. There have been multiple accounts of embezzlement from research funds, False grants, and even unethical experimentation. On the Flipside, they have made unique advancements in Exploratory and Security Team technologies through the years using both practical experimentation and genius ideas. They are responsible for the Grappling Hook, Type 2 Kinetic weapons, and even Soft AI's inserted into constructs to act as mounts, transportation, and combatants.
