Tools

Tools include traps, lock picks, and other helpful instruments the players come up with. There are specific tools needed to craft as well. Such as Alchemist Kit, Smithing Kit, Enchanting Kit, and Trap Kit. These kits are needed in order to create potions, poisons, runes, armor, weapons, or traps and grenades. These kits do not require proficiency in order to use them. Proficiency can be gained by backstory, in game training, role play, or other means acceptable to the DM. Proficiency with a Kit will allow the player to make Crafting Checks for the items they want to create. No kit, no craft.
Some Kits can be Artifacts and allow for bonuses for Crafting Checks.
