Ponticupo Bay is a massive balloon of ocean that dominates the south western cost of Rhunec. The bay is incredibly deep and seemingly carved out of Rhunec. The steep cliffs of Rochia plummet into the bay. Ancient Titan writings mention a star that fell here and caused horrible damage. As a consequence, the bottom of the bay has never been explored or even seen. The blue waters of the bay are stunning, but do not give up any secrets. The strange and unpredictable currents that spring up in the bay hint that those secrets are better left undisturbed. The waters may not give up secrets, but they give up plenty of fish. Rochia especially is known for its fresh fish markets in the Lower City. Small Guardian Towns are found all along the coast of the bay, mainly subsisting of the fish they catch. Every year, the Flight of the Brave occurs on Ponticupo Bay. Competitors try to fly across the entrance of they bay, from the north cliff to the south. The entrance of the bay is the shortest distance across the bay. Every year, a massive collection of boats and ships sail out from Rochia to the entrance. They form a massive, colorful, floating parade to watch the competitors hurl themselves off of the cliffs in flying machines.
