Order of the Stormguards

Structure

'The Lord Pontiff Aphelian' is the master of the religion. The voice of Aphelia on the plane, He has the final say on all business of the order.
'The Grand illuminant' Is the head of the sect of the Lumen.
'The Tempest's Champion' Is the head of the sect of the Stormguard.
Each Temple has a 'Temple master' who runs that temple, and they are under the leader of their sect.
Within each temple the members are called 'Brothers'. This is often suffixed with the sect that they are from when someone outside the temple speaks to them. (eg Brother Stormguard or Brother Lumen)
The new recruits are called the 'Acolytes' and go through years of training to become a brother of the order.

Assets

The richest organisation in the lands of Rhodia. From the tithes taken from the follower kings and lords as well as the treasures gathered from the world and the crusades. They have coin wealth of around 1,000,000gp.
They are also the biggest land owners in the win lands, with many temples spread through and the surrounding lands that they care for.
They also have a vast wealth of magic and religious relics

Worship

Aphelia can be worshipped anywhere where the sky can be seen. Her Temples are built as circular rooms with no ceiling, but they are hallowed and protected by her so that no rain comes in. Her followers Like to have a constant connection to her, so they are not fans of the underground.

Sects

The two sides of the religion are the Stormguard and the Lumen. 
The Stormguard focus on the teachings of the tempest. They are the fiercest most highly trained fighting force in Rhodia, and the only ones that leaves Rhodia on their crusades. They are a collection of martial fighters, mainly fighters, paladins and monks. 
The Lumen focus on the teachings of light and knowledge. They prefer to stay in the grand temple libraries and arcaniums to practise their craft, as well as venturing out to help the people of the local land when it is needed.
