Ancylo

One of the two main continents on Rhina, the other being Dae. Ancylo sits on the eastern side of the mortal plane. Ancylo is slightly smaller than Dae and significantly colder. Ogodadrakhia is considered part of Ancylo, however it does not share much of the same climate as Ancylo.

Geography

Much of Ancylo is arctic. It maintains cold temperature throughout much of a year (with the exception of Ogodadrakhia). During warmer months, there is a thaw, however the creatures that live on Ancylo must be adapted to mostly surviving the cold. As such, compared to the more temperate Dae, survival has been the main goal of civilization, where Dae has been given an opportunity to flourish more so.
Additionally, the Deadlands occupy the western side of Ancylo. Here, also, it is often freezing. However, hot volcanic activity disrupts snow that tries to settle on the area.
