Trinity City

Trinity City is a sovereign city located at the top of the Dragon Mountain, towards the south side of the mountain. The civilization consists of 3 races who live together, the Kobolds, the Goliaths and the Aarakocra.

Demographics

Trinity City split is roughly evenly split between the three main races - Aarakocra, Goliaths and Kobolds. It is known that the kobold population is the smallest and the Aarakocra is the biggest, but even then, the difference isn't large. The city also has a very small number of citizens of different races, one of which is a notable Ogre called War Beast who peacefully lived in a cave, near the village, who was a helpful protective force for the city.

Living Together

Seeing as there is such distinct division between the 3 races, some could think they don't get along, which is not true in the slightest. Each district is friendly to the others, as they rely on each other for different needs, and through the years of living together, defending together, and loving together, the three districts have grown together as a one tribe - one family.

Government

The city is ruled by 3 rulers, each from one of the districts. The Aarakocra have their Chief, the Goliath have their Chief and the Kobolds have their Chief. These three individuals get together on specific occasions to discuss what needs to be done and what has been done for the city.
A theoretical rank exists which has never been implemented - a Trichief, who'd rule the entire Trinity City by themselves, although the thought is seen as absurd to the citizens, since they don't think it would be fair, seeing as the chieftain would have to be of one of the three races, and that would mean that most likely one of the three districts would get special treatment and advantages.

History

When Ravoroth, the great, Black Dragon who had lived upon the mountain for many years left, for an unknown reason, the surrounding civilizations became curious with what had happened. The Goliath and Aarakocra were two of these curious civilizations. They, who had lived at the side of the mountain, in multiple tiny tribes, decided to go up the mountain roughly at the same time. The Goliath went up the mountain from the west where's the Aarakocra chose to go up in the south-east direction. The two tribes were greeted by not-so-kind Ravoroth Dragonborns who fought against the intruders at first, although eventually, they let both the Aarakocra and Goliaths on the mountain. There they began building their new civilization. It was spectacular. For the first time for any of these civilizations, they were working with citizens of different tribes. Together, they created what today is known as Trinity City although then it had no name. And back then, the city was much smaller.
A time came when the Ravoroth Clan, out of the blue, decided to force the Aarakocra and Goliath citizens to leave. A war began between the two forces as the newcomers denied the clan's request. The martial Dragonborn, the Ravoroth, versus the two united tribes of the winged Aarakocra and the brawny Goliaths. The war waged for months but it was evident that the duo would lose. So, they knowing of other residents of the Dragon Mountain, called one of them to help in their war against the Ravoroth Clan. They called the Kobolds. The small and underestimated miners, tinkerers and foragers who had lived in a giant cave system near the core of the Dragon Mountain. Now, the three forces, working together, were able to defeat the Dragonborn and finally anchor themselves in the village that soon became a town, that they had built. The Kobolds chose to stay and the name Trinity City was chosen.
