Tarrasque

Tarrasques are one of a kind, ginormous creatures that are known to inhabit the material plane. They are neutral creatures like most beasts who just live to survive. They aren't known to go out of their way to cause havoc or evil, and neither are they known for doing intentional good acts. In Elgidth alone two such Tarrasques are thought to exist: The Dreadful Emperor and The Core.

Basic Information

Genetics and Reproduction

It is unknown if Tarrasques can breed. The two Tarrasques that are known to exist seemingly had no records of parents and seemed to just either have appeared out of nowhere or have been there as long as anyone can remember.

Growth Rate & Stages

With the two cases of Tarrasques that are known to exist, neither seem to have changed in the hundreds if not thousands of years that they have lived in Rexweld.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Tarrasques are omnivores that feed on both plant life and living creatures, including monsters. In truth, Tarrasques eat anything they come across and even if it's a mountain, it might just get swallowed.

Additional Information

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Of the two Tarrasques each is located in a very different location - The Dreadful Emperor resides somewhere in the Dreadful Lands, where it's mainly thought to reside in the more jungly area. The Core on the other hand is thought to live underground, staying dormant, perhaps slumbering, in a deep underground cave.

Average Intelligence

Tarrasques seem to not show any signs of higher intellect. They seem to operate and live like many other normal beasts, showing a lesser intellect that its more based on instinct.
