Dragon Lord

Dragon Lord is a title that a Ravoroth Clan member receives when they become the leader of the clan.

Requirements

A Dragon Lord must be a powerful warrior who can prove themselves to also be a great leader for their people. A Dragon Lord must have passed the Warrior's Test. Although this is not obligatory, many Dragon Lords have had a knack for magic, either it be arcane or divine, and so it is seen as a bonus for a Dragon Lord to have at least some level of magic in them.
Lastly, a Dragon Lord must be able to tame a dragon, as almost all Dragon Lords have had some sort of dragons as pets.

Appointment

There are multiple ways to achieve the rank of Dragon Lord although, since the Ravoroth Clan Dragonborn like following competent leaders, usually the rank will only be given to someone who everyone agrees with leading. Usually, the Dragon Lord has a right hand or an apprentice who they prepare to become the next Dragon Lord. The other Dragonborn then usually trust in that Dragonborn's leadership since they were taught by the last Dragon Lord who the people had trusted and believed in.
The main other way is overthrowing but that usually only happens if the Dragon Lord who is being overthrown was not seen fit to lead by most of the clan since if someone would overthrow the Dragon Lord but the clan wouldn't want this, they'd remove the overthrower as soon as possible, putting someone they trust in the throne instead.

Accoutrements & Equipment

There is a special armour which is passed down from Dragon Lord to Dragon Lord. This is the Dragon Lord's Plate, which was crafted when Ravoroth was still at the mountain, as the blacksmith Dragonborn making it personally requested for Ravoroth to breathe its magical flames on the armour for better melding.
Dragon Lords also have other magic items which they personally commission during their reigns which usually are then taken by the next Dragon Lord. One of these items is Nyulmoc's Blade which was commissioned by Nyulmoc Ravoroth during his reign as Dragon Lord. The sword has been wielded by every Dragon Lord since.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

A Dragon Lord leads until he is seen too weak to do so either mentally or physically since the Ravoroth Clan believe that their leader has to be at their best, so they could represent the clan in a good manner.
