Horgrim's Gate

Founded in 2137 of 2nd, Horgrim's Gate, also called simply the Horgrim's, is the largest trade city on the southern part of Revelyá's western shoreline, within the countrylands of the Bymill Hills . It was a crowded city of commerce and opportunity, perhaps the most prosperous and influential merchant city on the western coast of Revelýa.
Despite its long-standing presence as a neutral power, with three dukes and one Archduke being the leaders and direct enforces of the Empire's will, the Dukes of Horgrim's Gate were more often than not also members of the The Lord's Alliance - a group of powerful aristocrats in the west.
The strong peace-keeping force known as The Watch - present in the more prosperous city districts - along with the presence of the powerful Flaming Fist mercenary company, kept the city generally peaceful and safe. This inherent sense of security allowed the city to keep a tolerant and welcoming attitude towards outsiders, whether they were wealthy merchants, poor refugees or, as it historically attracted, less-scrupulous individuals such as pirates and smugglers. Even the worship of several religions is tolerated throughout the city grounds, as long as though the groups keep to themselves.
