Nemean

Words as old as time.
A language spoken by a people long forgotten by the sands and winds and waves of time immemorial.
This tongue was derived from the language of the pantheon of the Gods that resided over the universe and Tarris Six, who's own tongue was known by the title of Panthaic.
The exact make and model of this ancient language is not entirely known by modern day scientists and linguistics who have spent so many years learning and describing and transcribing them. It is however understood that the civilizations of the world at the time following the Pantheonic Age spoke either Nemean or evolved variants of the same tongue depending on their region and dialect, but to what extent these variations reached is also unknown at this time.
It is decided that the origin of Nemean was that of the first recorded Human to have existed within Tarris Six, the first male Human who was bonded with Leanem, the first female Human who existed upon Tarris Six after the planet's creation by the god Hosios-Dyn and his wife Xyfarae after the fall of the Eldritch beings who controlled the darkness that had existed before everything else.
According to recorded history, the first known landmass upon Tarris Six was a supercontinent known as Unios. This landmass was of course not the only one of it's kind at the time, as the world was split between three super-masses at the time. Unios was the largest of the three, followed by Pratios and finally Wrenis. These landmasses were located in the northeast, south and west respectively, and were not connected by land-bridges of any kinds.
It is thought that Nemean and it's variants first originated on the continent of Unios, from which they spread throughout history and to the people - and other races - who lived and were evolving at the time. The number of Nemean variants is unknown, but due to the number of inhabitants across the world - which possibly numbered anywhere from the hundred-thousands to even hundreds of millions - it is considered that well over a possible hundred variants existed, accounted for because of region, dialect, influence and culture at the time.
It is thought that due to a series of illnesses and other events throughout history that the variants of Nemean began to die out, and that by several thousands of years after the initial beginning of these disasters almost eighty percent of these variants had died out completely, along with the people who had spoken them. Strangely enough, it was the evolution of dragons and other prehistoric species that followed this major collapse before leading into earlier years of recorded history, as opposed to what series of events could be thought of as normal; such as the existence of prehistoric species existing before Humans and their other races which lived on the planet could arrive into known history.
It is still uncertain as to what led to this strange series of historic events, but one thing is certain. One single variant of Nemean was adopted by the population of the continent of Olgath - one of the first regions to break from the supercontinent of Pratios - and was turned into the early branches of Common - akin to English - and furthermore into Reethese, the language primarily spoken by the inhabitants of the continent of Rethium.
