Damien Chauvelle's Letter to King Châtignory on the Formation of the Red Inquisition

Addressed to our dear leader, King Osmont Châtignory I,
Your speech is slated to be read to the public of Périçon on the day Ulm 3 of Mosswind in the year of 1013 AC. Do not stray from the guidelines I have given you. It is imperative that our faction is presented in good grace to our people, as we are in uncharted territory with our intended practices. Our citizens may not, nor should they, take our business lightly. This is why you must tread lightly with your words and use your natural charm to sway them into our favor. I trust you understand, but I shall list our requirements again, in the case that you have forgotten. I wouldn't blame you, as you have been a very busy man in these past months. I ask that consider that without me, you would likely have no place on the throne. The guidelines, in the event that your thoughts have been misplaced:

1. Be sure that you do not speak of our intended actions in a barbaric way.
2. Assure the people that these mages will only grow in power and need to be kept in check.
3. Address the opportunity to join begins as of Re 28. Make sure to appeal to their emotions, mentioning that what they hold dear is threatened.
4. Do not mention a potential draft if volunteers are not sufficient. This may trigger a negative response and should only be brought up in the future, if needed at all.
