Rider is the average height of a red fox, and is significantly shorter than Skylight.

Personal history
Rider was born in the Emerald Forest. What her early childhood life is a mystery, because when she was little, a fire raged in the forest, and killed her mother. Rider saw Moonmist and Nightshadow running by and decided to get Nightshadow's attention by grabbing on to her tail as she came by. Moon and Nightshadow already had a wolf pup each, so Rider was carefully balanced on Nightshadow's back, and rode out of the fire.
When the fire died, Nightshadow and Moonmist returned to where they found Rider, in hopes of finding any clues about her family. instead, they found the body of Rider's mother, who tried to get to her kit.
Nightshadow decided to adopt Rider, and since they didn't know her name, Nightshadow named her after how she bravely escaped the fire.
Rider grew up in the Night Barn. A couple days after the Battle of Blood Moon, Rider was introduced to Skylight, a fox kit around her age who was servrely shy.

Rider has experienced many truamatic fires. Every fire has taken someone she loves. Rider is also terrified of Eaglecry, the leader of the Fennec Foxes.

History
Rider and Nightshadow met when Nightshadow rescued Rider from a fire. Nightshadow decided to adopt Rider not long after.
